Prospective MP For Chesterfield Ben Flook met with a number of Market Traders and local businesses to discuss his campaign to Save Chesterfield Town Centre.
After almost 85 years of Labour MPs, Chesterfield needs to change to reverse its decline. Shops are closing, parking is too expensive, graffiti is not cleaned and offices remain empty in our Town Centre.
Ben will work with local businesses and Market Traders on his plan to save our Town Centre.
Ben is campaigning for 2 hours free parking, building a link between the Market and Ravenside and to bring back events to Chesterfield, like the Motorfestival.
Speaking after the meeting, Ben Flook said:
Chesterfield needs a new MP that has a clear plan to Save Our Town Centre. After decades of neglect by Labour, the Conservatives have invested £25 million to revive our Town Centre - and I will work with local businesses and market traders to encourage more people to visit our Town.
